Year(s):
2020
Producing a trip-planning product (during a pandemic).
TravelCrue is a collaborative travel planning tool that keeps track of and organizes all ideas, plans, and details regarding an upcoming trip.
Throughout much of 2020, while quarantining in my Chicago apartment, I worked with CEO and developer Zach Zuber to design and launch a beta app and brand for this product.
Brand Discovery
The CEO and visionary for the product was given a questionnaire to help articulate the personality and mood he imagined for the soon-to-be company. This would begin to inform the visual identity.
Company Logo
The notion of separate elements meeting together was the foundational concept behind the monogram logo, as the goal of the product is to help bring plans and people together.
The bold pathways that make up the logo are representative of globally recognizable transit lines. Whether subway lines, bus routes, or flight paths, they bring us together around the world.
